📄 Rules for Withdrawal, Transfer & Re-Admission
⚖️ General Guidelines
Annie Besant Matriculation School maintains a transparent and well-defined procedure for the withdrawal or transfer of students. These rules ensure proper record-keeping, respect for administrative processes, and smooth transition for students moving to other institutions.
- ✔️ Parents who wish to withdraw their child from the school must submit a written application to the Principal.
- ✔️ The application must be given at least one month in advance or before 15th May of the academic year.
- ✔️ Students leaving the school during the academic year must clear all dues before applying for withdrawal.
- ✔️ The school fees for the full term will be charged if the withdrawal is made after the commencement of the new term.
- ✔️ The school authorities reserve the right to issue a Conduct Certificate based on the student’s behavior, attendance, and discipline during their tenure.
- ✔️ Transfer Certificates (T.C.) are issued only after a written request from the parent or guardian who signed the admission form.
- ✔️ T.C. applications must be submitted before 15th May; late applications will be processed only after paying the textbook or term fee for the current academic year.
- ✔️ A T.C. Fee of ₹250 is applicable for every certificate issued.
- ✔️ The T.C. will be issued within seven working days after fee clearance and verification of records.
- ✔️ Original Birth Certificate must be produced for verification at the time of T.C. issue.
- ✔️ Duplicate T.C. will be issued only in special cases, after submitting an affidavit and paying the prescribed duplicate certificate fee.
- ✔️ If a student’s name is struck off the roll due to non-payment of fees or long absence, re-admission may be granted at the discretion of the Principal.
- ✔️ Re-admission will be considered only after paying the Admission Fee again, along with the pending dues.
- ✔️ Students re-admitted after a break must produce a Medical Certificate if the absence was due to illness.
- ✔️ The school reserves the right to deny re-admission in cases of disciplinary issues or poor academic record.
- ✔️ All re-admissions will be recorded as “Re-admitted on (Date)” in the Attendance Register and the School Diary.
A student may be removed from the rolls under the following conditions:
- ✔️ Failure to pay monthly or term fees even after repeated reminders.
- ✔️ Unsatisfactory conduct, indiscipline, or misconduct inside or outside the school campus.
- ✔️ Consistent absence without prior permission for more than 10 consecutive working days.
- ✔️ Poor attendance below 75% during the academic year.
In such cases, re-admission will be allowed only with special permission from the Principal and after paying the required charges.
- ✔️ Parents are requested to ensure that all school records, including progress reports, attendance records, and fee receipts, are collected before the final withdrawal.
- ✔️ Once the T.C. is issued, the school will not be responsible for storing or providing additional copies of records beyond the standard retention period.
- ✔️ The school management emphasizes that withdrawal or transfer should be considered only after thoughtful discussion between parents and the class teacher or Principal. Our goal is always to support the student’s growth and continuity in education.
- ✔️ Even when a student leaves the campus, they remain a cherished part of the Anni Besant family.
- ✔️ We take pride in shaping students who carry forward the school’s core values — discipline, diligence, and devotion — wherever they go, fulfilling our everlasting motto:
- ✔️ “Success to Life.”
